Hi Everybody

I'm running a new kayak-borne event in San Fran on September 17.  We're calling it "People Paddle", paddling with City Kayak on Pier 38.  We'll be launching from Pier 40 up the San Fran waterfront, back to McCovey Cove, back to Pier 40.  We're raising money for about 20 different nonprofit groups.   Paddling is about 10am to noon.  At noon, the world famous South Beach Block Party starts on South Beach, and you're all invited to attend that...

Wanna paddle us?  It'll be a gas.  This is a first-of-its-kind event in San Fran, and is drawing lots of media attention, so your mom might be impressed to see your picture in the paper.  All it takes is a cheapo $15 registration fee, then you can register to raise pledges for any of about 20 nonprofits.

See the website for lots more info or to register online:

By the way, don't see your favorite nonprofit listed?  Let me know and if it's a certified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency as defined by the IRS, I'd be glad to consider adding it to the list...

Paddle On!
