Fished  Saturday 8/26 afternoon at Van Damme State Park just south of outside rocks in 80' to 120' of water. Single shrimp fly and a 6" root beer jig on a 6oz. lead head setup. Constant action on Black Cod and a couple of released ling cod. Big vermillion hit right at the end of my one hour effort. Lots of very immature cod mixed with a few nice keepers. First post for me on this site. Have been kayak fishing for a few years now and really enjoy it in the salt. Hope to meet some of you guys out there someday. Mike (Blue Ocean Kayak Scrambler)
