Yea it's gonna be a pain, but I think this gonna work while I tow the RV! The one thing I have noticed is that the bottom of the PA is slicker than snot. So I may need to get some rubber grip gloves to take it in and off the rack. Can't wait to get it in the water!

looks good, but you might want to put something on those bars for the boat to stick too...  Just a thought from a guy whom has lost a boat on the freeway  :smt003

Thanks for the advice. Any idea what to put in the bars? I thought maybe if a I tied it down through the scupper holes or the drive hole I would be golden.

try jumbo size pipe insulation.  Upside down is also best for a lot of folks, those that don't use saddles of some sort.  I don't know about going through the scupper holes...I think that would take a long time to do in a secure way, never done that.  I just use cam straps over the front and back.

I gotta give props for the roof top loading. Like a man :smt002 I know those things are heavy as hell. I think padding would be nice, however I used to load my yaks on my Chevy and go only through the scupper holes. Worked like a charm :smt002 congrats on the the set up
I like to have fun.......

It's only a 12', not a 14'. You should be OK Craig!

Something to watch out for is when the weather turns hot is you might get dents in the hull from the crossbars when you have the PA tied down.

I am going to get some padding for it. It was a pain at first, but I think I've got a system down. I put the pa perpendicular to the tailgate, then lift the nose up onto the first cross bar, then lift the back end up and it slides right on. Taking it off is the trick though. When I place the back end on the ground the nose wants to slide off the cross bar. So I need to make something that will stop that.
Never thought about the dents. Thanks for the look out on that!
