Several companies make big dude kayaks. Wilderness Systems, OK-Old Town, Hobie, and several others. Try before you buy.

I'm a big boy also my first kayak was a Ocean kayak Big Game and it was great. It had excellent stability and I was completely comfortable on it a couple of miles out in the ocean. My 2nd kayak which I have now is a Malibu X-factor. It also has excellent stability and great to fish in the ocean. Make sure what ever kayak you get has a good warranty and usually the higher capacity the more stable the platform. If you plan to go in the ocean I would suggest at least a 12' kayak. I have also demo'd a Ocean kayak Trident 15 and it was really nice and pretty stable. I also tried a Jackson Cuda 14 and it was really nice but not as stable as all the others I mentioned. Demo all you can and get what you like the first time for a good experience. Good luck! :smt006

Jackson Kayak is coming out with the "Big Rig" pretty soon. Check out YouTube or search the forum for more info on it. I know that Dan at Headwaters posted a few things about it recently. Whatever you decide to get, make sure you demo it. You wanna make sure you're completely comfortable with it.  :fishing2 Good luck!
