Hey All,

I am glad to have found this board.  I lived here about ten years ago and am just getting back into the area, and the local fishing scene.  I fished off my kayak then, but that was a while ago.  The kayak fishing industry looks to have taken off a lot since then.

I have an OLD Mailbu II and like to keep it simple (milk crate).  I'm live in San Jose, and am looking for areas to launch out  of and potential fishing partners.

I look for forward to meeting others and learning what works around here.

Welcome to NCKA and back to the south bay!  There are plenty of members here in the bay area so you won't have any trouble finding some people to fish with.

What species do you like to fish for mostly?  Freshwater, saltwater, both?

I'll be fishing one of the east bay lakes this weekend for some trout, feel free to PM me if you want to get out and tag along.

If you ain't first, you're last.

Thanks all for the friendly welcome.  SmokeOnTheWater, I'm a Saltwater guy, but thanks for the offer.  I may take you up on that later in year.

I mostly fish the salt as well, but with the closure for most species, I need to fish for anything that will fight back.   :smt005

See you around.

Welcome Jon. I too am primarily a salt guy, but when you start hanging out with these folks fresh water is not too bad.
