Planning to hit the Sonoma Coast on Saturday.  Not sure where... Fort Ross, Stillwater, or possibly Anchor Bay.

Anyone else going to be up that way?

I will hook up with you if you don't mind showing a rookie around.

My dad's been practicing with his ab diving gear in a quarry by my house all week.  We'll do stillwater or fort ross, not sure which.  Probaby hard to launch a zodiac at fort ross with the south swell, but I know the diving at fort ross much better.

I am planning on taking my brother out of Salt Point for his first time on Saturday.  I would like to try Anchor Bay some time.  How is the launch there?

Hey...Travis is ALIVE!  Anchor bay is EZ if the swell is mellow.

Well... sorry guys... had a change of plans.  Gotta go earn some WAF tomorrow.... we're going to the Zoo.

(Might bring a surf rod just in case they want to make an excursion to the beach.)

Definitely going up there next Saturday.  Would like to try Anchor Bay as well.  Easy launch from the North end of "chicken beach".  The coastline faces south there so it's usually protected quite well from the NW swell, or so I'm told.  I scoped it out a few weeks ago... nice looking spot.

Me and a buddy are going up to either Gualalla or Ocean Cove on Sunday, it depends on what time he has to get out of the camp site at Gualalla.  We are planning a fish/dive day and hopefully we can get some nice fish as well as abs.  If you're going to bring a Zodiak you can launch out of Timber cove and go north to the cove just past the Timber cove Inn, There are some huge abalone in that cove. :smt004

Let me know if anyone is planning on going up on Sunday,

I was too bushwhacked from a busy week at work to get packed tonight.  Probably going sunday, better weather too.  ;)
