Tonight I did something that felt good

Tonight while at the gas station I saw a homeless man digging through the trash for cans as I went to get in my can and drive away I noticed the ton of empty water bottles that were filling up the passenger side floor of my car I looked at him then down at the bottles and finally I said "hey boss you recycle plastic too?" He said "yeah" with kinda a confused look on his face then I said "come over here I'm going to hook you up" he came over to the side of my car and I proceeded to fill his bag with about 40-50 empty water bottles after I was done I said "well that's it" as we parted ways I found myself feeling good inside
Now I'm not for giving money to someone I work hard for what I got and I don't like the idea of giving it away to anyone but I'm also not against giving someone the tools to make their own money
I know what I did isn't going to change the world but I could tell he appreciated it and that felt good

I know what you mean. I hate to give cash. But one time I was sitting in a restaurant eating a burger and had some fries. The burger filled me up. This guy was digging in the trash can for food. I gave him my full order of fries. And the look was priceless. I could tell he was real hungry. Good Job Vanilla-Gorilla.

But on the other had a guy came and asked me for a dollar. Just so he could play Lotto. I said no, I don't give dollars away. Oh how I would feel like a fool, if the guy won and me with nothing WTF.
