lined up my two kids and another 12 year old for a fishing trip, but needed one more grown up along. angel answered the call, along with his girlfriend, liz. dragged the kids out of bed at 4:40, on the road at 5:05....

met angel and liz at the dock and headed out to san gregorio.

my usual spot at san g on the 37.18 line looked picked over, so we cruised down to the 37.16 line and struck gold....

the kids and liz were hooked up constantly. they were running me and angel ragged. here's christina, allison and eileen....

christina really had her hand's full today!

saw the tigerfish again. nice boat!

there were no lings or cabs in the bunch. we kept 38 nice sized rockfish, releasing many more. angel cleaned all 38. what a guy!

we scrubbed down the boat at the dock and came home. the kids were goofing off, and some one made the mistake of saying she was bored. so i put them to work. they won't make that mistake again!

Alan,

Thanks for letting Liz and I tag along.  We both had a great time!

This was Liz's first time out fishing from a boat and now she's hooked.  Unfortunately she's been spoiled by the Grady.  I'm going to have a hard time getting her to go on any trips unless the boat meets the expectations she's built up from your beautiful boat.  :smt001

As for cleaning all 38 fish, it was good practice...but I noticed when I got home that I had accidentally skipped cleaning two of the fish. I hope I didn't leave any of the others uncleaned.

Looks like a fun trip! The kids looked like they really had fun. If I was up at 440 I'd have my eyes closed for the pics.. he he

Nice report. Took aiden to Ano yesterday and stoped by Pescadero and Pigeon. Water looked nice. Saw a boat out of Pescadero and thought it might be you, although my Binoculor were not powerful enought to get a good look.  Great job again.

I like how the girls all had perfectly fitted fishing gear!  Those pants are sweet.  Very important to keep the kids comfortable when fishing.
