Surf Peach or Shark outside the Golden Gate?

Hey guys,

I'm doing a kayak fishing for sea kayakers class in February at the Golden Gate Sea Kayak Sea Kayak Symposium. I know rock fishing is closed so I'm curious on if Kirby Cove or Bonita cove would be a good place to take these guys to catch some surf perch? I figured we would drop some pots off on the way for a few hour soak. Any advice is appreciated, I've never fished the area, but I've taught a bunch of sea kayak classes out there.
