What's up NCKA?

I'm just putting the feelers out, here... This isn't exactly a hookup, but it may become one.

Salmon are still biting along the Marin coastline. It's not red hot or anything, but fish are still there. Big ones and small ones, not much in between.

Anyone interested in one last final hurrah this Saturday before the season closes?

I'm going for it. As of now, Saturdays forecast looks a little better than Sunday, but I'm open to either.

Chrome or bust... Who's with me?

If I was closer I'd be on that, Alex.  Good luck.   :smt001

Thanks, Eric. Sounds like you've got some Hail Mary plans, too. Hope we both score!

Hey Alex - I put in 5 hours of trolling off of Muir on 11/1.  Decent amount of bait, lots of birds and a few porpoises working the area.  No hits but it sure felt fishy.  Good luck if you go - wish I could join you.  Next year!

Thanks, Bird!

I'm definitely going Saturday morning, bright and early. I'll probably drop a crab pot inside in about 20-30 FOW then head out trolling dux to rocky point. Worst comes to worst, I get some good exercise and maybe bag a bonus crab or two on the way in. Maybe some rockfish, too.

Can't beat that!

Ha! Little of each, I'd say.... I ate a chunk of my 8/25 Dux salmon for dinner last night ; I'm sure that fueled the addiction part. :)

Any last minute takers? I'll be launching from the end of Brighton in Bolinas as soon as it's light enough.

Isn't Muir Beach closed? Where did you launch from? It's one of my favorite places to fish.

Sounds like drop pots and troll would be the order of the day!  Good luck outthere and be safe!

That's the plan! Drop a pot inside, then head out for a trolling session.

Muir is still closed. Opens up again toward the end of this month. Can't wait!

I'm guessing he was in a power boat.
