So I showed up to the memorial at HMB this Sunday and got to meet some great people! Everyone Accepted me in like I was one of their own had some beers some excellent smoked meats and kicked back around the fire.

So my reason for writing this is to give a shout out to a great example of how willing to lend a hand everyone in your group was. When I went out on the salt I felt my first sea sickness and it was bad.... So bad I fell in and flipped my yak!  Anyway before I could even attempt to flop back in I had someone right next to me helping me get right back in!!! I didn't get his name but I defenetly owe him a beer! Great people in your club!

Also wanted to thank scubaluis again for loaning me a wetsuit. Don't know how I would have handled the water without it!!!

Welcome to the Maddness Jon you were assisted by two Legends  Allen Bushnell (Bushy) and Paul Lebowitz (PAL) couldn't have been in better hands.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Yeah, that's how I flipped my kayak too for the first time. The swell was only 6feet but only being on the water a couple times, I got sick really bad. Glad to hear all went well and that you were surrounded by some super cool guys ready to help when needed.
