After 2 of my TR-102w traps got ripped off on the last week of June when crab season ended I decided to replenish.

Its a shame these thieves are everywhere.  Seems like its not safe to soak pots overnight anywhere nowadays.

Thanks for the heads up on the deal.

Any opinions on TR-102W vs  TR-632 ?
Is  TR-632 worth twice the price of 102W ?
All I have now is ring nets, no traps
Thanks!

I'm interested in any feedback on the difference between the two models as well -- anybody have side-by-side experience with these?

Lost 2 of my traps in HMB last day of season in June too.

Can't trust overnight soak.

I love me my overnight soaks.  We did a lot, and I mean A LOT, of overnight soaks last season.  Lost only one pot the whole time.  Got out pots raided more times than I care to admit.  We had a "tell" that would let us know if the string was run.  OK, so I didn't keep records, but I'd guess 1 in 5 nights.

A few things I believe help.  Run your pots inside of all the other pots.  We had good crab as shallow as 25 feet and sometimes less.  Check them early the next day and beat the raiders.
