Yet another New guy

Greetings everyone! I've lurked around this site on and off (mostly off) over the last few years but I'm now retired with LOTS of things I want to do...and crabbing and rock fishing on my kayak is WAY up on my list.  The problem is that I don't know what I'm doing and I have no one to do it with! 

So, if anyone is interested in a fishing partner around bodega or tomales bay, I'm your guy! I've got most of the gear I need for calm weather I think. I'd just like a partner with experience so I don't look too terribly ridiculous out there as I'm floundering in the surf.
I live in Healdsburg so I can hit either spot with relative ease.

I'm also interested in joining groups of people on weekend outings since I have a ton of free time now. Is there a spot here where people list the "hookups" I've seen mentioned? I haven't been able to find it.
