there is a public launch right there under hwy 37. it has a parking lot, restroom, and boat wash down area. there are stripers in there. I have seen people catch them at the boat dock at the launch ramp. I have also seen river otters right there at the mouth.

Grass shrimp, Bullheads, pile worms. Unfortunately Lenards Bait and tackle has closed :smt012. They were right across the river in the marina.

I caught this sea monster there, after he towed me around for 40 minutes. Lots of them there.
