Just spoke with the owner of Lauritzen Harbor and he confirmed this tournament is open to kayak anglers. Sorry for the short notice but if anyone is interested you must register in person at Lauritzen Harbor. Here is the link to all the info you'll need:

It's $6 to launch from Lauritzen but they are providing free pancake breakfast from 5:00 am -7:00 am for those that do.
