what a dog....

By the way Joel... I stopped into REI 2 weekends ago. I was just cruising through the store and I remembered 'oh yeah, Joel works here.'  So I asked an employee about you. He tells me, "We see Joel about once a month....(pause) No, twice a month. Once to work and then he comes another time to buy stuff."   Way to go dude!

I can't wait for linda mar though!!! In the meantime I hope to make it out to the brickyard or Paradise Sunday......

That's me alright  :smt023 Did you see my "employee in action" photo? You'll recognize where the photo was taken  :smt002

Jeff- nice to see your posting again! I guess it takes a "Salmon post" to get you out in the open!  :smt003 Hope to see you out there soon!

I looked for you photo back near the restrooms but I didn't see it. That would be the only evidence that you work there. You better check again!!!

Yeah, the salmon and stripers have me going now. I spent all winter surfing and fishing steelhead....great surf year.....pretty horrid steelhead year except for a few good windows here and there.

I am warming up the kayak now though. I was in south city this morning so I decided to stop by candlestick and do a quick bank casting hit. Fished for about a half hour and caught/released a 26" striper. From talking with others it sounds like there has been a bit of action down there with the stripers and halibut. Tomorrow though Im going to launch the yak at mcnears after a morning surf....east winds should push through the morning and it should be slack wind in the bay by 12...but thats if it doesn't have to much north in it.

I was there but the ones I caught were either too small or got away.

That salmon report reminds me - I'm getting out of the business and I need to sell my bass-o-matic. Any takers?
