After pedaling a Hobie for the last year, I have noticed one major disadvantage. It is waay harder to hold in a poop when you are pedaling...compared to paddling.

Yeah but you have that convenient hole to drop the scuds through, I think O2B put together a training video somewhere 

Great choice.  I love mine. I let my buddy use mine at HMB this weekend.  He wants one too, but wants an AI more.

I was pretty torn between the revo and outback, I had my eye on the AI too, lots of good deals on lightly used demos. Nobody rents them due to price and lack of sailing experience.
