Anyone know where I can buy 1/8" black bungee cord by the foot locally? I only need a couple feet of it so no need to buy a whole spool. It needs to be 1/8" so two of them can fit through one of these:

I thought I saw them at REI a while back. But I visited the one in Concord, and all they had were bungee cords with hooks at the end, and not in the right diameter.

The West Marine in Pleasant hill only has them down to 3/16" diameter. :smt012

I will check out CCK in Oakland. If they do not carry it I will get it from Hook1. Thanks! :smt001

Try your local ACE hardware or Home depot.

Ace hardware surprised me with a big assortment.  If anybody needs a bunch of it you can get fifty foot loops on e-bay from several sellers, and it is cheap.  The stuff comes in handy, not just for yaks.
