Hello, NCKA, looking to talk to experienced kayak crabbers.

I have an Ocean Kayak, Diver's mode, 12' long. I am very experienced on the ocean. I have launched at the cement boat wreck at capitola and gone past 4 mile beach and back in a day. So I am saying I am in good enough shape to crab from my kayak. But, would like to get some wisdom and technical wisdom from some of the experienced kayak crabber's.
I have to many questions to list.

Chuck wrote a nice article based on his experiences over that last couple of seasons.  

I'm not sure where you're thinking of going but I tried out of HMB a couple of times last year.  If it is too rough, you can always drop your traps in the harbor.
