OK… OK…

How about an Ocean Kayak Prowler 13?  Would this be a good kayak for both fishing and diving (Ab/Tank)?
I don’t know much kayaking - I am afraid getting a yak that is too big.

It depends on what you want.

I just got a prowler 13 and will soon post a detailed review, but here is what I have for you so far.

The Good:

Fast (compared to my drifter that I got rid of) crusing speed of 2.5-3 mph and top speed over 5.
Very manueverable, and especially with the rudder.
Lots of storage, huge tankwell and front hatch.
Good mounting points for rod holders and such.

The Bad:

Wet ride for a 200#er like me.  My foot wells are almost totally submerged while at a standstill (easily dealt with using scupper plugs in still water)
I don't like the front hatch cover design
I don't like the permanent cup in the center hatch.  I much prefered the bag design hatch that I had in my drifter, and I may cut out the cup design and replace it with the bag design.

I must say however that I totally love this boat.  It tracks well and is fast and maneuverable.  The wet ride is easy to mitigate.

If I fished primarily in the ocean, I would get a prolwer 15 though.  Luckily, I am more of a fresh water guy.
