Hello all,

My steed: 2012 Wilderness Tarpon 120 on top of a Honda/yakima roof rack

I grew up bank fishing for bass/striper near Sacramento, and have countless fond memories from the early years with my dad, and friends, etc. I later transitioned to a mostly flyfishing diet for a while, chasing steelhead and trout up the siskyous and down the sierras. Fast forward to 4 years ago, several friends at Humboldt state quickly got me started in a big way with the kayak fishing thing, with Big Lagoon cutts, Freshwater Lagoon bass, and trinidad RF. I am now mostly interested in fishing from my kayak for whatever is biting, namely ocean salmon and groundfish, or bass when the bite is good, to salmon on the lower klamath and sacramento rivers, or whatever else sounds productive at the time.

I hope to get a Hobie with a mirage drive sooner or later to extend my ocean range a bit, since my cycling experience adds more stamina to my legs than my arms could ever dream of.

I Attended humboldt state univ and completed my freshwater fisheries undergrad, now employed with CDFW and USFWS doing various work with salmonids in the ocean and klamath systems.

100 duck sized horses.

That was a fast response! I should probably mention that I have probably met several of you already. My friend and I took 3rd at Rockfish Wars 2012 and 5th at Rockfish Wars 2013. Met plenty of you great gentlemen at the award ceremonies at the lodge afterwards.

Eric, We've definitely met, i love your youtube channel, funny to see you and asssface grind gears.

I'm sure several more of us have crossed paths.

Here's a picture of me with a freshwater lagoon hog to jog your memories  :smt004
