Hello Everyone!

Just moved back to my beautiful home state of CA after 10 years on the East Coast.  I'm a life long fisherman and two years ago I got my first kayak, a revolution, and spent many great days on the water out in Raritan Bay and the Jersey Shore tussling with stripers and blue fish.

I'm really looking forward to learning the fishery out here in the Bay Area and hope to get to know some of you and maybe even fish together sometime.  I'm in San Anselmo and it looks like I'm located in a pretty good area for access to SP Bay and the coast.

I went out last weekend in Richardson Bay just to make sure my kayak still floated and brush the dust off my gear.  All seemed to be in working order, so I'm ready for more adventurous locales.  I'm sure I'll be spending lots of time online here trying to get some idea of where to go and what techniques work here on these west coast fish.  I'm sure there are a ton of knowledgeable members here on the site and thanks in advance for any help and information.

If you are in the same area as me and don't mind someone tagging along with you on a trip out, shoot me a PM.  I work in Mill Valley and can probably get out on the water for some evening weekday trips after 5:00 and can do early mornings on the weekends.

Hope to see you out there.

Until then, tight lines!

Welcome back to Cali Collin!  Obviously hookups are abound but you can really meet a lot of people at a group function although not sure of the next one off the top of my head.

Saw in another post that you were from Modesto.  Where'd you go to HS?

Michael
