Spicer Meadow Reservoir.

Anyone fisher Spicer lately? I just set up a down rigger on my yak and the family and I are heading up there to camp. I'm planing on dragging around my normal set ups for trout....ie: dodger and bug, wedding ring , needlefish etc. anyone have any better suggestions?

I was up there 2 months ago and the dodger worm combo on the surface trolled about 200 feet back got the most hits, especially when I added a little garlic gel to the dodger. My other pole with various rapalas didnt get a bite. I only fished on each side of the dam and the dam and did not have a downrigger. Marked a lot of fish around 50' near the dam though. Stomach contents for all rainbow trout were small black flys and mosquitos. The people on the shore with live crickets we getting bites. Let me know how it goes I have been planning a return trip.
