Poor man's Hawg Trough....

maybe I should call it a Pig Plank ....

Maybe I should try harder to catch something worth measuring.  (got skunked today at Cabrillo)   :smt010

My first ghetto hawg trough was a section of PVC rain gutter w/ one of the DFG freebie measuring stickers on it.  Whatever works!  :smt003

The charter boat I was on last sunday had an old-school wooden yard stick stapled to a 2x4 <LOL> :smt003
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

My previous one was the yellow DFG on a redwood plank (leftovers from my fence).  It had the OLD regs on it.  The new regs this year - bass have to be 14".  Since I saw this decal in the $.99 bin at a local Turner's I grabbed it.  I also improved it with the "stop" at the end.  It's no longer a flat plank.  Took it fishing yesterday -- but mr. skunk prevented me from testing it out.   :smt013
