Wish I could join you but I just burned all my credits after spending 4 days on the Lost Coast.  However, here is a mini fact;

The state record for wild rainbow trout is 27 pounds. The fish was caught Oct. 2, 2005 from Lake Natoma by Frank Palmer.

ya theres some monster trout in there. would join but i will be drifting folsom lake for cats

PM ATD he's the man out there. Tough fishing for sure, but can be rewarding

wish i would have seen this earlier i would have came with... i went to the american river and stopped at the rossmoor boat launch and watched 25 rafter float by in 5 minutes... i didnt want to get in all that so i packed up n went home lol. but if i would have known this was going on i would have came. hope you did well.
