Doran Chrome Hunt Thursday 7/11/13

I do not have a shark shield but I got everything else. I look forward to catching some hogs with you all. See ya bright and early Thursday.

Tomorrow there will be the people there, and every one else will wish they were there. Let's hunt the devil fish and take no prisoners. Bring lights flags and anything to make you visible. It's going to be a zoo out there. 530 AM launch and tight formation to the fleet. If you are late, you will be SOOL. Days like this don't happen often.

Scott:   I'm loaded and pointed down the driveway.  Hopefully see some kayakers in the morning.  I was thinking of launching further North but it seems there are still fish off the head. 

I would love to join you guys after today's harvest, but I have to drop my son off to camping. The Salmons are definitely still out there and in good numbers. The boaters were actually very courteous. We didnt run into any with an attitude. Good luck guys, hope you get some big hogs!!

Hey stinky tofu just drive in Doran park as far as you can until you see the rock jetty, we launch from there takeoff is 5:30am.

Anyone get a report yet on the fishing/weather? Hoping the fleet nailed them today...waiting impatiently for a report.

Hey Allen, pretty slow. I saw Spike put a good one in the boat. And Bat said he had one. Saw one PB land one. But that was it.

Listening in on the radio, it sounded like things picked up a bit around noon.  Some boats did limit early.

Some boats limited quick SW of the buoy. Some near the buoy. Others struggled with lots of lost fish.

They're still out there...

I think on Saturday I will work the area SW of the whistle buoy mob (assuming there's bait in the area).
