So just a few quick questions on salmon trolling. Haven't gone out yet for them, but hoping to tomorrow. I don't have access to frozen chovies before tomorrow, so I'm limited to either a hoochie (~4" white or pink), frozen squid w/ or w/o an fbr, or watermelon apex. I also have a smallish in-line flasher, forgot what it's called.

So my plan was to rig a sliding sinker with 8-16oz of weight to my snap, then the flasher and either apex or hoochie. Any thoughts or recommendations? I know I really should get a deep 6 or some other diver, but that's down the road a bit. Thanks.

I have gear for you. Just launch at 530 AM and I will rig you up. Bring a limber rod and a reel with a smooth drag.

Kuya Darius, for my pinoy brothers, I will rig you up too. Shit if you had told me earlier, I would have loaded another kayak. Anything I can do to keep you from fishing BH is all good IMHO.  :smt005
