How to you stow your anchor

I am now using the QRAS and I love it. However it is a bit bulky with the boat fender and rope holder. While moving from spot to spot I just left it in my lap. While heading out or back in I wanted it stowed out of the way. Since I was fishing with my wife we each put away the others by pulling the kayaks against each other. I am wondering what others do. I figure if it went overboard while the rope was wrapped and secured to the winder, the whole thing would just sink to the bottom. In case of a tip over I figure it should be well secured. Where do you stow it and how do you get to it if it is hard to reach?

I toss mine in the tank well behind my crate under the bungees.

Yes. Sit side saddle and get to it no problem.
