Anyone got one? Any good? Looking for a good cooler (on wheels) that I can use for day trips and drink storage on camping trips. Had good success this weekend keeping all the food cold in the big igloo with block ice. Having a smaller one filled with drinks helped I am sure. But I would like to upgrade the beverage cooler so I don't need to get ice on a daily basis.

Here is the one I am looking into

yeah i just did a second Amazon search and found it for less then $40. Does it hold ice for more then a day? I just tuned my "smallish' cooler into a SUP accessory....Someone had to do it.

It did pretty good at Shelter Cove when we used it. We bought ice on Friday and then bought more on Monday. Really have not tested it fully.

we had one, and it held ice for two days up here in Redding, and we are right next to hell here.  :smt044 Then somebody else needed it more at a kids soccer game.

GF has one of these, and it lives up to its name.  I had a larger one in Iraq and would do a decent job considering the temps (not too many low price point coolers will hold up to 140 F+ in the cab of a truck all day).  She had to replace the latch recently but it was over 10 years old.  I don't think you can go wrong with any Igloo cooler.

cool (pun). I just ordered one. I love the massive white marine one I got a garage sale. I had and old coleman (that came with the PUP trailer) and was shocked and how fast it lost the ice. But then again it was 105 out....

Next time, throw a towel or burlap sack over the ice chest & soak it with water once in a while.  The evaporative effects this causes will prolong the ice by double.  We did this at Lake Sonoma when we camped for 2-weeks one year & it was 110+ out that year.

I am ordering some shades for the PUP bunkends. and they also make these. I may just try one out. I wonder if they can make a fish bag? Hmmmm. I may ask when I call.

Looks like the same stuff my Hobie Rudder Cover & mast Bag is made from.  Interesting.

My wife bought me one of those about 5 years ago, use it constantly, one of the best coolers I ever had, as far as I am concerned the guy who decided to put wheels on a cooler should be nominated for a Nobel Prize.

The only complaint I ever had was that the "hinge" (a plastic peg) will pop the lid off kinda easy, which made me worry about losing it in the bed of a truck, so I drilled a single hole in the meat of the handle on both sides and bend a bungee to stick in the tiny hole. :smt003
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
