Thinking of trolling for Salmon from MBK toward the hotel then switching to Hali fishing.  Anyone game?

Cancelled!  I'll be fishing in Santa Cruz with the gang instead.

FYI- Heard of some salmon caught off Pt Pinos yesterday. Not wide open, but they're out there.

Launched at the ramp near mbk & the wharf around 10:30 for the maiden voyag of my ai I've had since last year.  Good things cone to those who wait.  Forecast was 10knots & 4-6' @ 10sec. Hardly enough breeze to sail to the red can & back and almost flat seas.  Didn't bring a rod but there were a couple guys with hookups near the can.  Most if the party boats came from the Hog Farm.  Marked some good bait balls near the can as well.  Off the water by 1:30 and it was still nice out there.  Good shakedown of the yak.  Wind direction wasn't in my favor and lite but I got a little sail time in never the less.

Glad you enjoyed the maiden voyage.  Fishing was slow in Santa Cruz but enjoyed my time OTW,
