Damn Howard I would have traded you for my SKB.  It's built like a tank but weighs like a tank too.  Hopefully they have redesigned them a bit since I got mine years ago.

Bret, Albakore company doesn't exist anymore. Couldn't compete with newcomers. As for SKB, I don't remember how they were previously built. The box, however, is still heavy.

I didn't realize Albakore was gone.  I have another similar pack that came out before the Albakore that I use all the time, but I thought the Albakore pack was better designed and built.  Bummer, no that make me more jealous of Eric for snatching it up.
