So i am going to put in at franks tact on friday with a buddy from outta the area. Both of us have never fished any part of the delta. Any help on these areas would be great. So we are going to fish for bass and im looking at google maps, franks tact looks huge. Would you suggest just staying in this area all day or going through some of the inlets? how far by yak is big break from tact by yak? Any other fish we might try for in these areas? Thanks for any input and i chose this area cause i was looking through some of the post on the delta and it seemed to be good for new people. Both of us are very comfortable on the yaks and we have gps and maps!

I don't know how far big break is from franks but when I went I didn't have to go far,I stated flipping the veg as soon as I launch and was getting bites.there are always the regulars over there blue gill, lmb, stripers and the ever present carp.
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Launch from Russo's marina at Franks Tract ($10) fish the area near Russo's marina.  Head Left (West) and fish Piper slough(Piper Slough is the body of water you're launching in).  Cant go wrong with a "Baby Bass" colored Senko this time of year.
