I was out scouting for deer and came across this lake. Nice big beautiful lake and wondered if anyone has ever fished it? Camping looks neat to, being nearby.  It's off hwy 88.

I always zip right past that place on my way home from Kirkwood in the winter and have thought about going back in the summer sometime.  Never actually saw the water before so thanks for the pic!  It looks great!  I'd be curious to hear if anyone has been there too.

Oh, and btw...  I think it's called Bear River Reservoir unless we're talking about two different places.

I used to fish there a couple times a year every year when I was a kid. It's pretty, and powerbait seemed to work pretty well. Still, it's been about 30 years since I last fished there, so I wouldn't call my experience a "recent report"  :smt044

Have not fished there, but everyone I've talked to has always said, it's a poor producer Pretty place though if you are more in a paddle than catching.

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.
