But seriously, I think I've mentioned using them before in regards to Stevens Creek Reservoir.  I can hang sideways from the Scupper Pro, and do about 2 mph. They'll also keep you stationary even in a good breeze. I brought them out on Friday at HMB before the derby, but the drifts were perfect, so I didn't use them. I also feel a little sketchy when I'm doing a REALLY good impression of a pinneped in the landlords turf. I use full size el cheapo fins from Big 5, and like the power that they give. I'd probably pass on the ducky feet float tube models, unless you already had a pair.
