Yeah, it was okay till the wind turned on, then I high-tailed it outta' there.
Fishing seemed slow too.
I got a limit of blacks at the jetty.
It was great hanging with the few other NCKAs that were there.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

It was ugly yesterday too!  I drove 3+ hours to Doran for a Salmon mission but had to abort due to ocean condition  :smt009

Sonny thought we were messing with him when we told him on the radio not to launch.    :smt044     

From the beach, it was very deceiving on Saturday.  No wind, water nearby looks calm.  The moment we made it passed the islands, we slowly saw boats appearing from the fog, but they were headed back in.  In my head, I was thinking "early limts" but few seconds later as we kept going towards the buoy, we were faced with some huge huge swells.  We made the call to head back in and that was a pretty interesting ride.  I saw a salmon jump in 20ft of water so I trolled that area for a bit working the bait for nada.
