Isleton Cajun Festival 6/15 & 6/16/2013

Welcome to the Isleton Cajun & Blues Festival — a family-friendly weekend of great Zydeco and Cajun music, a feast of Bayou cuisine, exciting vendors,  street entertainers, and kid-pleasing amusements — hosted every Fathers Day weekend by the Isleton Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy true Delta hospitality in our Historic Downtown District just once, and you’ll be coming back for more!

The Contest will be held at 2:00 pm at the Rogelios Stage on Main Street.  If you are interested in participating, please be there at 1:45 and you will be given a raffle ticket to enter the contest.  We will draw 6 tickets and they will be the contestants

Had a blast hearing the live music and seeing all the tasty food that each vendor had.

The wife spotted Elvis sing and dancing on stage!

Very fun great for kids.

We are looking forward to next years event!

The Crawdads that we had where found in the food court and the company is from Roseville CA

Haven't missed one in sixteen years.  Don't see " boobs for beads"  flashing like there used to be, but the music was way better.  No Lockeford sausage this year!  I'll have to make a sausage run on my own.  Elvin Bishop kicked A for the last performance of the night.  He can still do it and he must be at least 70.
