Hi guys! Chris Payne from Central Texas here. I run a website listed to the right under the earth icon called Payne's Paddle Fish. I don't sell anything. I mainly write about gear, kayaks, how to get started and general stories to help grow the sport and share knowledge about kayak fishing. I am trying to broaden my knowledge base and I know very little about Pacific Kayak Fishing. Hoping to get educated!

Welcome. Just read and learn. SoCal saltwater probably has a bigger variety of species. Up north the freshwater is probably more interesting and on the salt we have bigger waves and surf  and colder temps to deal with. Helps make us a tighter knit community. Hope your can make it out for some fishin

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.
