Great video. He's definitely put in some practice time.

I would probably ring up $1500 worth of damage trying this. Amazing how he aborted and turned the boat just in time to avoid crunched aka bars or pile driving the bow.

I keep guessing on the mount...even bought some parts to test my theory.
I built a light mount by using a button head and a washer under the lips on the top of the mast, this seems to be something similar with a free swinging arm maybe?
