SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
May 27, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:00 am to 7:30 pm and boats being off the water by 6:30 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. Our last plant of Mt. Lassen Trout was on Tuesday May 21, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of Trout and DFG planted that same week also. The water temp has been around 69 degrees. The Trout bite is still good and are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area, Pines, the Tower  and across the other side at Sandy Point and in Scow Canyon, and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Rainbow, Chartreuse and Spring Green as well as Green Pumpkin have been working as well as the Mice Tails, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and the Panther Martins seem to be working for those that are trolling. Bass have picked up with people using Drop-shots, Catfish have started biting on Night Crawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp out at the Boat Launch Shoreline Area. Crappie are also biting on Jigs & Crappie Nibbles at the Boat Launch area and at the Oaks aswell.
