I've been looking at these reels and they seem high quality. Mainly need them for trolling and shad fishing. I'm looking at the 3000 size.

I have always been pleased with Penn Reels.  I don't have the fierce but it looks like a good reel.  The only thing that caught my attention were the oiled felt drags.  I would plan to change those out to HT 100 carbon fiber drags with teflon grease.  I can get away with a lot, but to me a good drag is a must.

Got a 6000 just for my crab snare set, hopefully tomorrow I'll retire it as a snare and use it for  what it was meant for. But its a tough real to be slinging and pulling up 6+ oz weights with crabs attached.
