So much wind!

It's been more than 5 weeks now that this f...ing wind has been blowing all over the SF bay and HMB-Monterey, and consequently fishing has been lamentable.
 Any1 has any insight into the origins and historical of this type of weather - beside the fact that this is the nature and it's what it is.

I'm right there with you, HATE HATE the WIND!! Ruins all types of fishing.

Going to be a bad year across the country for storms.  Butterfly effect.

The springtime sustained NW winds create cold water upwellings that bring nutrients up and with that bait fish and then big fish.  Part of the cycle.  Don't worry, the June Gloom will set in soon and we will have calm glassy mornings.

^+1, we actually NEED the wind.  There are already baitfish outside the harbor though, so I would say we've had enough

And not just the wind.  That south swell doesn't seem to be letting up any.
