Just felt the quake in Rancho - apparently 5.8-5.9 centered in Greenville - near Chester/Almanor/Lassen!

Clayman - any smoke belching from Lassen?     

My couch was rockin for a bit. First quake I've felt in years.

i thought my wife was crazy, i was right there with her when it happened and didnt feel anything. Guess she was right...

I didn't feel a thing down the hill in Chico.

Couch was rockin in placerville too, I was blaming the cat

Man, that was intense!  It knocked a bunch of stuff off my walls, sent oranges flying off my table, sloshed my dog's water bowl all across the kitchen floor, and made my dog scared shitless.  Nothing broken though.

I'll let ya know if I see Lassen spewin' smoke John  .  If it knocked the district office to the ground, then I wouldn't have to work tomorrow...and that'd be really cool  .

Chris - given the recent emphasis on safety, I'd just assume the RD office needs to be inspected tomorrow for structural damage, and go fishing.  Our crew is out in the field tonight so we're getting in touch with everybody.

Was at a customers house above Nevada City , got one hell of a good shake there.
