This May 27th, do something different!

With Memorial Day fast approaching, I would like to extend thanks to all of our Nations Veterans from Wartime and Peacetime. Instead of worrying about your three day weekend, or the sale going on at the Mall, I would ask that on this Memorial Day May 27th, American's do something different for a change, and adopt the Dutch Day of Remembrance of the Dead. At 8:00 PM we turn off the televisons, radios, and cars and remember those who gave all, for a mere two minutes. Two minutes is not much to ask, for what has been given to us over the years. When I was stationed in Holland I recall how somber and peaceful that small nation was for two minutes. Please cut and paste the link into your browser to learn more.
