LOWRANCE Elite 7 HDI

Finally finished installing my new Lowrance Elite 7 HDI on the whaler. Had to take one unit out and relocate another unit so I can have room for the new Lowrance. This thing is user friendly and have so many features in it. I had to do some major rewiring but it's all worth it. This thing works like a champ. Test out the Night Mode last night and this thing is so sweet. The unit came with the Navionics Micro SD card for Coastal and Lakes both US and Canada. Can't wait to test this thing out on the water. Sweet!  What year is your Whaler?

I have that same unit .... you will LOVE IT!  I'm thinking about buying a second transducer, power cable & bracket so I can move it between my kayak & pontoon boat.

NoSoupForyou, my whaler is a 1985 and I repowered it with a 2002 Evinrude 90 Ficht. Took out the old 90 Johnson that came with the boat because it was inhaling petroleum big time.

Nice Freddie.  I have a 1973 Whaler that I put a brand spankin new Mercury 75 Hp four stroke on when I got the boat in 2006.  I love the boat.  I just wish it had some storage on it.  I have the Lowrance HDS 5 with Structurescan on it and love that unit too.
