I have been thinking about this choice myself. My problem is that I have an 02 F350 powerstroke diesel that won't die or even start to feel used. I may never get to buy a new truck. My brother has a newer Tundra and my neighbor has the F150 with the Baja package (or something like that). They both like their trucks.
You have one of the best trucks ever made so I doubt it will ever die if properly maintained plus your f-350 probably gets better millage than any gas motor can get in a truck, I love my dodge with the cummins motor, I would of bought a ford with the 7.3 power stroke but they can be hard to find in my area.

My decision to buy my current truck (2002 Dodge 2500 quad cab 4x4 CTD) was 3 fold,  I needed to tow my CJ-5, haul my 20" telescope, get better fuel economy than my previous 94' Dodge 1500 gasser.
It does all 3 easily.  I'll never buy another gas powered truck after having my Cummins.
