I'm new to the forum but have been doing alot of kayak fishin  in the Monterey area since the season opened july 1
been fishin mostly the kelp beds outside carmel.  usually get my limit or close to it with a few nice reds and a couple legal lings so far.

looking into a fishfinder as we speak (stopped in at westmarine at lunch and talked to someone there about units)  will be nice to be able to see whats on the bottom (rocks sand etc)

any advice on what unit to purchase would be greatly appreciated.

also if anyone ever wants a second third or what not drop me a line.  I gots my own gear and am usually up for fishin either after work or on the weekends  =)

Welcome to the madness Mahito  :smt077

If you go back to the main page, you can do a "search" for "Fish Finders" and you'll get all the info you want  :smt023

Looking forward to fishing with you - especially in the Monterey area :smt007
