My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Curious, what do most you guys wear out in the ocean on your yaks?  Been diving since I was a kid and hoped to use my kayak along with diving but if you're just fishing, is a 7mm too hot or not comfortable if you're solely fishing?  When I saw the sale on the lighter wetsuits it made me think it's maybe a good way to go.

Amongst those who wear wetsuits, most wear the 3mm farmer johns.  Not good for long immersions, but good enough to get your ass back on the yak after a swim- provided that your yak hasnt drifted away from you. I wore my 7mm when diving but got really hot during the paddle back.

Peace & blessings!
