Couldn't stand the idea of Kyle sitting at LL waiting for me to show. So I went to LL and discussed our options. He'd already paid for day use so we decided to give it a try. Soaked pots for nada, trooched and drifted popsicles in wicked current and crazy wind for nada.

Oh well, I've spent worse days on the water. Next time it's NC for sure!

Thanks for the LL scouting report Ruben.  I've tried crabbing and fishing at  LL several times in the past without much success but clamming there is always great!

Do you have weights on your pot doors? The current rips in there.

Yeah I have weights. Actually got two undersize dungies and four good sized reds. I kept the reds ''cause I (and the wife) think there yummy.

My hammer of choice for Rocks is a 20 once dead blow hammer. Dead blow are filled with shot and are rubber coated, keeps me from marring up the sink when cracking them (hey I live in a dinky apratment, I use what I got).
