I'm headed up to lake Sonoma for the first time this weekend.  I'm guessing we'll be camping at the main drive in campgrounds as I'll be the only one with a Yak.  I liked the looks of the Thumb and Skunk camps in the northeast section, but someone else is organizing the trip, so I'm going with the flow.  I think I'm going to concentrate on bass but open to any suggestions, tips, etc...

Thanks in advance for any intel!

All I know is that the legendary Senko works at Sonoma.  The water was clear last weekend and tons of bluegill everywhere.   :smt003  I would say get there early and stay late because the middle of the day can be hard (at least for me)  good luck!

throw or troll the points with anything that looks like a Shad. The Shad were thick a few weeks ago and everything was feeding on them.

Shallow water with a tube on a 1/8 ounce head. Can't beat a Gizit tube up there motor oil, darks reds, etc. I've had many 20 fish days there. Best to you
