I've become a convert to gloves in the last several years. My hands used to get so beat up (nicked, chapped, sunburned, cold) that now I have a couple pairs of gloves for different conditions. if it is going to be a warm day I use spandex backed ones, and now for the cooler days (like the spring RF opener traditionally is) I use a neoprene backed pair.

If I was in the market I would try these out for sure.
